The DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) overwrites data that is temporarily stored on the hard drive of digital Multifunctional Products by writing over the latent image with random sequences of 1's and 0's. This process makes any effort to access and reconstruct residual image data virtually impossible ABOUT DATA OVERWRITE SECURITY The Data Overwrite Security reduces the risk of information theft by performing a three-pass overwrite to data written to the MFP’s hard drive.
